Dr. Ashley Sikand is the founder of the Nevada Sinus Center as well as a partner physician at ENT Consultants of Nevada. He is board certified in the specialty of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons (Canada). Dr. Sikand completed fellowship training at the California Ear Institute at Stanford. He was also a visiting fellow at the University Hospital in Zurich, Switzerland. He then served as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology –Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Working often with neurosurgical colleagues, he pioneered many surgical procedures in Nevada including techniques for skull base tumor surgery and repair, as well as cochlear implant surgery. Dr. Sikand is a member of the American Neurotolgy Society (ear and skull base surgery) , the American Rhinologic Society (nasal and sinus disorders) and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He was also named to the laser surgery committee of the American Academy of Otolaryngology. Dr. Sikand conducts research in treatment outcomes for sinus disease in collaboration with prominent centers in other areas of the United States. He has been recognized in consecutive years since 1998 in the Las Vegas edition of “Top Doctors”.
